LGBTQIA / Queer / GNC / NB / Transgender

I’ve dedicated many years of my professional life to serving the queer, trans and gender non-conforming communities. During a time of uncertainty and fear for so many in the queer community, I aspire to offer clients a safe environment to heal. I am knowledgeable about queer and gender identity expression, and uplift the unique identities of each client. I have worked with clients extensively on gender transition, queer relationships, body image issues, coming out, NB/GNC issues, and queer community issues. My practice is SW-affirming.

PSYCHEDELIC / Entheogenic / Shamanic Communities

I have special experience, knowledge and training in working with individuals involved in plant medicine and shamanic communities. While research explodes around the therapeutic use of psychedelics and sacred plant medicines, many clients still struggle to find a therapist who is knowledgeable and non-pathologizing about these medicines. I have supported many clients in preparing for sacred medicine work and integrating their experiences to make the maximum impact on their lives. I have extensive experience as a legal psychedelic-assisted therapist as well as a clinical supervisor in DEA/FDA-approved research settings. I have received training through MAPS in MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy and am on the Supervision Team for the EMBARK Psychedelic Psychotherapy training model.

I am also part of the Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy team at the Woodstock Therapy Center where I provide psychotherapy to clients undergoing ketamine treatment with a licensed physician. This groundbreaking treatment administered under the direction and supervision of a medical doctor is appropriate for clients with depression as well as those seeking transpersonal therapeutic experiences.

TRAUMA / Survivors of CSA

I have special experience and training supporting survivors of sexual abuse and assault, in particular adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Sexual trauma can lead to an array of symptoms very difficult to heal with talk therapy alone. Research shows that somatic and trauma-oriented therapies such as EMDR and Internal Family Systems Therapy are compassionate, tolerable, and effective methods of addressing sexual trauma. My philosophy centers empowering survivors to heal at their own pace, restoring pleasure, and learning tools to regulate difficult or overwhelming feelings. I have also worked extensively with survivors of sexual abuse integrating sacred medicines in their healing journey.
